What files do you accept?
Although we can find a way to work with virtually all file formats, we do prefer
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, or Adobe Photoshop. We will also take other
formats such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Publisher, but there may be extra
charges to prepare the file for print.
How can I get my artwork to you?
The best way is to bring your project in and discuss it with our staff. However, we
also receive projects digitally through email and FTP. We also can arrange to pick
up your project. Remember to please have lasers or samples of the artwork to
match when preparing the files.
Do you prefer native files or PDF?
We prefer both. A PDF is the ideal file for output, but if we need to make changes
or corrections for you, or if the PDF was not properly created, we will need the
native file. It is always a good idea to supply both to save time. And remember,
always include your fonts or outline them!
Do you do all the printing at Eco Print and Imaging?
Not always. We have in house digital printing capabilities that allow us to produce
black and white or color small format prints and copies along with large format
color posters and large format black line drawings. In addition, we do most of our
design services. However, with the special relationship we have developed with
vendors, we are able to produce anything you need.
Do you print locally?
We do most of our production in house, but do our best to place any out-sourced
jobs first within the Lake Tahoe region, then throughout Northern California and
Northern Nevada.
I need to print a large quantity of printed material, but don't have any
storage space. Can you store it for me?
Yes. We provide storage and fulfillment services for all our customers. Contact us
for more information about these services.
